4 Advisors in J&K unlikely to continue after joining of G C Murmu as Lieutenant Governor of J&K. According to the sources of THE PUBLISH, 4 advisors in J&K who are IAS and IPS officers of senior batches are unlikely to continue after G C Murmu takes over as the Governor of J&K on 31st October.
According to the highly placed sources Advisor Khursheed Ganai, an IAS officer of 1982 Batch, K K Sharma an IAS officer of 1983 batch, K Skandan who is also an IAS Officer of 1982 Batch and K Vijay Kumar an IPS officer of 1975 batch are unlikely to continue as Advisors as the newly appointed first L-G of J&K is a junior batch IAS officer of 1985 batch and the senior IAS officers who were appointed as Advisors of the Governor are not very keen on continuing to work under him.
According to the sources, the new UT of J&K shall have 4 instead of 5 advisors after 31st of October. However, the official confirmation in this regard shall be made immediately after 31st of October.
